LIGHTING APPLICATION SPECIALIST

Your challenge

Responsible as Lighting Application and Service team to provide concepts, lighting design proposal & products solution for any applications and convincing Philips products as best choice for the customers; Indoor projects (industrial & commercial/private building) & outdoor projects (infrastructure, stadium, airport) which used conventional & LED products; and support Professional Lighting business by providing lighting solution proposal to Specifier or End User.

Your responsibilities

• Promote Philips leadership image through innovative and creative lighting application and provide professional techno-commercial analysis with B2B approach.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with customers and consultants. The role will also be involved in discussion with various authorities in promoting specific lighting concepts and related solutions.
• Support the Professional lighting channel business, the successful candidate is expected to work in close collaboration with sales personnel, account managers and product managers to ensure that latest lighting trends and key benefits of Philips products are reflected in design proposals.
• Provide lighting application proposal using lighting design software (Calculux, Dialux) and other design software (Photoshop, AutoCAD). Conduct illumination survey and audit and be engaged in commissioning lighting systems as demanded by various projects.
• Good capability to present the lighting application and solutions idea to customers from across all level.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree Architecture/Interior Design/Lighting Design/Physic Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in designing lighting systems for different applications like office lighting, industrial lighting and outdoor lighting. Be familiar with Dialux lighting design software and latest AutoCAD.
• Those with strong contact in specifying community e.g. lighting consultants, M&E Engineers and Architects will be given preference.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills is essential.
• A good team player with strong interpersonal skill. The role will require interaction and co-ordinations with personnel across all levels.
